Source: Celebuzz / FF to 0:50 E! Online: Khloé Kardashian Odom a Finalist for X Factor Hosting Gig! Khloé Kardashian Odom has the X factor Simon Cowell is looking for! Well, almost. The E! star is one of the finalists for the coveted hosting gig of Fox’s The X Factor, sources confirm to E! News. We exclusively reported that Khloé was in the running for the gig back in July, along with Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler and Kelly Osbourne, among others, but it seems Khloé has emerged as a top candidate. According to a show source, others who screen-tested this week included Kevin Jonas , Erin Andrews, Ashley Roberts and Glee’s Kevin McHale. While speaking to reporters yesterday, Cowell said he is looking for two hosts, one male and one female, preferably with no prior hosting experience. “That will make it more interesting,” he explained. “There’s so much talking on these shows, 11 or 12 minutes. It’s too boring, as Ryan [Seacrest] demonstrated, for one person to say everything. You’ve got to mix it up a little bit. I kind of know what we’re looking for, but that’s why we screen-tested people.” Since The X Factor kicks off with its audition round, there’s no rush to find the hosts, but Cowell says fans can expect a decision “in the next seven days.” Source: E! Ross was met with incredulity by the rest of the This Week panel, including foreign correspondent Christiane Amanpour: TAPPER: Brian, very quickly, what are your sources telling you about how far the Iranians are when it comes to building a nuclear device? ROSS: Four to six weeks away, if they made the decision to do it. That’s some of the intelligence. They haven’t made that decision, that’s the key. AMANPOUR: That has been so vastly disproved. Others say that it could be a year. So, this is a guessing game that has gone on for years. Watch it: Ross’ timeline is way off the mark. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta just last week addressed the potential timeline for an Iranian nuclear device, telling CBS News that it would take at least a year for the Iranians to build any kind of nuclear weapon if they decide to pursue it. “It’s going to take them a while once they make the decision to do it,” he said. According to U.S. and Israeli intelligence and the International Atomic Energy Agency, there have been no indications as of yet that Iran has even decided to actively pursue a nuclear weapons program. Panetta also said the U.S. has very
