Chicago teachers show their true Alinsky colors

Source: netrightdaily.com - Wednesday, September 12, 2012
H/T to Michelle Malkin for spreading this information and the accompanying videos: Yesterday, I gave you an up-close-and-personal look at Chicago Teachers Union radical Karen Lewis . EAGNews has done invaluable groundwork tracking these agitators over the years. Today, they bring exclusive video from the march yesterday that stopped traffic in the Loop. First up: “Che-cago!” Kyle Olson writes: “In the first day of its strike, the Chicago Teachers Union played host to a collective of radicals, including those proudly wearing Che Guevara t-shirts and others hoisting anarchist flags. The radical with the flag explained it stood for “revolutionary unionism” and that strong unions can stand up to “capitalists.” He said the union has leaders who got elected on a “syndicalist” platform…” And here’s a vid clip of students being used as Big Labor kiddie human shields , dutifully parroting union chants:   Here’s more testimony from students being lobbied by their un-teachers to join them in the streets. You know the drill: “Educate, collaborate, AGITATE!”

Chris Carpenter To Start Friday For Cardinals

Source: mlb.sbnation.com - Sunday, September 16, 2012
Chris Carpenter will make his first start of the season for the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday against the Houston Astros , according to Jennifer Langosch of MLB.com . Carpenter has yet to pitch this season due to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and resulting surgery. He was not expected to pitch at all this season, but he will now return the Cardinals rotation just in time for the stretch run. The Cardinals are 11 games behind the Cincinnati Reds for first place in the National League Central, but they hold a one-game lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers for the second and final National League Wild Card spot after beating them 5-2 on Sunday. A healthy Carpenter could give the Cardinals' rotation a much-needed boost, as Jake Westbrook has been sidelined with an oblique injury and Jaime Garcia has struggled since returning from the disabled list. Carpenter last pitched in Game Seven of the 2011 World Series, in which he earned the win. For more news and notes on Cardinals baseball, be sure to read Viva El Birdos .
