Tampa, Florida (CNN) - As Hurricane Isaac approaches landfall, likely in Louisiana, Mitt Romney on Tuesday spoke with Gov. Bobby Jindal, and his campaign is preparing to post a relief donation option on its webpage, a Romney campaign official told CNN. The GOP presidential candidate, who is expected to achieve his party's presidential nomination this week, has been receiving daily updates on the storm, the official said. Romney communicated to Jindal that his campaign was "ready to help as much as we can," the official added, noting that resources are in place in the convention host city of Tampa, Florida, should a relief benefit event be organized. Isaac was initially projected to impact Tampa on Monday, and the Republican National Convention canceled official events that day. Isaac is expected to make landfall along the Gulf Coast late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Jindal had been scheduled to attend the GOP convention, but announced he would instead stay in Louisiana to monitor and deal with the storm.

Melissa Ohden’s powerful story draws a stark contrast to his unbending support of abortion and the abortion industry and reveals the human face to this debate.” SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said of the Missouri ad campaign, which might be expanded to include other battleground states, such as North Carolina, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Ohio. “President Obama’s appalling record on abortion is not just limited to his four votes to deny rights to abortion survivors but spans to his recent heartless refusal to support bans on sex-selection and late-term abortions. These actions fly in the face of mainstream American views and run counter to the President’s first term pre-election talk of finding common ground. Recent polling reveals the majority of Americans support bans on these horrific practices.” The SBA List is also currently conducting a bus tour through Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia and Florida, highlighting Obama’s abortion extremism – including
