Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh took to the airwaves on Monday to fill his audience in on his thought process over the weekend as he watched the GOP cancel the first day of their presidential nominating convention due to the impending Hurricane Isaac. He says he was concerned about the track of that storm shifting towards New Orleans soon after the GOP cancelled their first day of convention events. Limbaugh noted that the Hurricane Center, which tracks severe weather events, “is the regime” and “Obama.” RELATED: Rush Limbaugh: America ‘Could Survive Four More Years Of Obama’ Limbaugh noted several times that he was not alleging any conspiracy before saying that the Hurricane Center “is the regime” and was intentionally keeping Hurricane Isaac’s track focused on Tampa. The result of that forecast pushed the Republicans to cancel their first day of the Republican National Convention. Limbaugh said that by 8 p.m. on Saturday night, after the GOP cancelled the first night of the convention at 6:41 p.m. EDT, he witnessed “one of the biggest shifts in model forecasts I have seen since 1997.” He says that the hurricane had been moved away from a direct hit on Tampa by Friday night, but the wind field still presented a clear flooding risk to the convention’s host city. “That is a huge change in a three-hour period for the models to move hundreds of miles,” said Limbaugh. “Model consensus was always Pensacola or somewhere else in t
