Isaac Continues to Dump Rain on Louisiana

As slow-moving tropical storm Isaac moved away from New Orleans, some surrounding areas of Louisiana will see almost two feet of rain by the end of the week causing more dangerous floods.

I’m still a strong believer that guitar music is alive and kicking in the music industry despite what some contemporaries may have you believe. One such band keeping the dream alive is The Jungle Giants from Australia, with their new track She’s A Riot . Cast your mind back a few years and this is the kind of thing that would’ve been everywhere however, despite that fact, I still think it has a place today. This is a great catchy song with a simple enough structure but it’s executed in a way that will make you want to hit the replay button. Despite the resemblance of the vocal to Julian Casablancas/David Monks (Tokyo Police Club) I think it still sounds fresh and shouldn’t be discounted for that fact. I personally believe this kind of track could catch a wave and fight its way into a lot of summer playlists. So look out the window to some sunshine (hopefully) kick back and let this track swim around your brain, it probably won’t leave in a hurry.
